I thought the kid brought some game. Even though his wines are not available now in the U.S. I still thought that the sharing of ideas and philosophies on what plays in the different markets shows some insight into what a vintner has to go through in crafting his/her vine and wine. But I’m EZ!

I love dry riesling but hate sweet riesling. Consequently I don’t buy much because I don’t know which is which. How can I tell if a particular German riesling is dry or sweet?

Jeez…why all the hate for this ep. It was fine, G, and so was the guest. Big fan of the dry Reislings. Moreso from the Alsace, though.

Nice episode. Trying more Reisling/Alsatian type wines these days. Brought a Gewurz to a party on the weekend and had it mostly to myself. Yum. Everyone else was into Chilean Cab. Ho hum. QOTD: YES YES and YES. Gary you are amazing, your discriminating palate is something I dream to develop. Congrats on the new little one. Bless you all!

The negative comments are BS. Gary has always stated that the show is about expanding your palate (for wine and experiences) not for selling wine. If you want him to be a company shill, you are in the wrong place.
