Well done – the ‘stick to what you do well’ idea was a good one.
I’m a little shocked to hear that cali cabs can go there – I have a friend that has a bunch in cellar…yikes.

QOTD: I always have an answer for ya, but today I pass – that’s just a really tough question.

I have to say… I can’t recall the exact episode # but, the ones I remember the most are the ones where you taste wines that I can get in Québec. Like the Château Puech-Haut Tête de Bélier which is one of my all time favorite.

QOTD: i can’t remember the # of the episode, but the one where you are outside in NJ, i think outside your shop, it’s winter, and you are freezing to death, and you are getting pelted by sleet. I really loved that one, i thought you were such a character for doing that, and never giving in and saying i’m a celebrity get me outta here. 😉

Good WLTV show, 700 episodes in and it just gets better. This format is actually very versatile.

QOTD: Most memorable is the one with all the food for palate education, Number148. Second memorable is Daniel Schuster’s two part. (Third would be K Vinters’ Charles Smith #549).

Happy 700th!

QOTD The first show I watched was #105. I was looking for a review of the Rosenblum Zinfandel and I got excited watching you blast it.

#148 is Epic man. It will and should never be topped. #148 is why I started watching you. #148 taught me that Wine is approachable and what I taste is right!

On another note: it is only appropriate that the Oak Monster showed up in #700. That dude is classic. Great way to end it.

Congrats on 700! I’ve only been around since early this year, but I’ve gone deep into the archives and watched a lot of old episodes that have taught me quite a bit about wine. Favorite episode may be the first one I saw with your dad as the guest.
