I had a Montes Alpha Syrah the other day that was great. It needed about three hours to open up though as, of course, I was drinking it pretty young.
QOTD: Terrible question. Worst one ever. Makeup is the worst invention ever. The pretty girls don’t need it and it makes the not so pretty ones into con artists. Enough makeup can fool anyone. Oops

Well, I’m not just leaping to try Chilean wines after that episode. I’m sure I’ll eventually find one I like, but not yet.

QOTD: Nobody should wear makeup. Well, maybe if they are performing in a play or on TV or something.

QOTD: Just lip-balm with spf to avoid dry chapped sunburned lips.

QOTD: Lately I’ve been into dark red lip colors applied with a teensy lipbrush.

QOTD: I fully admit to putting a little foundation/coverup/whatever on the rough areas of my face for my wedding day. Even the groom’s got to look good on that day, right!

Your “Oak Monster” reminds me of John Goodman’s monster character in Pixar’s Monster’s Inc.( at least the one scene when he tries to be scary.)

qotd: hands down, Dillian Ranch Zin 2005, JOel Gott bottled it , but I first tasted it atthe vineyard and lifted a case on the spot- love the cocoa on the finish and at $22 geat QPR

Good concept for a show and the results weren’t bad for that price point. You are obviously tougher on these wines than WA or WS usually is.

I am totally afraid of the “Oak Monster”, so I’m not gonna try that one… but I’ll keep an eye out for some other Chilean selections.
QOTD: I’m a mascara girl all the way, add some sunscreen and lip balm and I’m ready! Unless it’s too hot, then I’m only going with the sunscreen.
