    At any rate, you are right: Nebraskans serve whites too dam cold. And as east-coast guy, who all of his great-grandparents came from Spain, thank you for introducing Latin wines to Nebraska. Your cojones are in the right place.

    Great show, hot guest but thank goodness the wines did not exhibit any hotness.

    Very enjoyable. All wines that I can actually afford.
    I have had most of the malbecs, and agree that the Altos packs a pretty good punch for the price point. Alamos is also quite good, as is the Luigi Bosca Reserva.
    Am looking forward to locating and trying the Spanish Red.

    Disagree with your notes on the Volver. I found the wine to have nice balance, and for ONCE I agree agreed with Jay Miller’s ratings. Thought it fell in the 89+ range.

I’m part of the spirit world email list so I’m shocked they didn’t list you and making as appearance that day, I would have loved to come support. Next time whip them into shape with some publicity…. I hear theres a good book about this i think its call “Crush it” give it a read. All the best!

  • Gary, hope you’re enjoying some nice steaks out there. That would be a good show. A what to pair with steaks/ steak tasting- different cuts maybe. You could try a Riesling, a Cab, and a couple others to debunk the myth that steak is only supposed to be eating with Cabernet.

    Hope little Mesha is doing well. I liked the ‘home episodes’ a few weeks back where you could here Lizzy saying sweet things to little Mesha. Precious times for you all.
