95 degrees in Phoenix, I like to go outside, and bundle up with a long sleeve shirt.

By the way, can’t believe you are spitting that wine out, from your own home, at your own home, what the hell else do you have to do? Oh yeah, need to see more episodes at the office, with 4 or 5 wines, by yourself, either regular tasting or blind tasting.

  • QOTD: Hmm, I would tend to stay indoors and chill as best I can. I live on iced tea so the consumption is up even more these days.

Hey Gary, I’ve been away at Myrtle Beach for a few days and away from the internet, so I’m catching back up on missed episodes. I liked the Guigal show alot. QOTD: When it’s super hot outside, I prefer summer beers, white burgundy, and white bordeaux.

Qotd: I sit around wondering when WLTV will do another secret pack. What else does one do on a 95 degree day?

Great show Gary. Love northern Rhone and many Guigal releases.

  • Dude, Dominus is the BAWMB!

QOTD: Pool. When it’s 95 degrees, I keep my body submerged in water.

QOTD: Get to the pool and chill out.

Love the passion and variety you have with your show. Keeps me wanting to see the next show. Have taken your advise and constantly trying different wines. My wife thinks I am a genius.

Thanks for the great information and making it entertaining.

    95 degrees=Inside lovin’ the AC.

  • Listen. I’ve quit watching tv quite a long time ago. And you know what? I’ve been watching shows like yours instead. Steadily but, sorry, just like tv, subscribing it from iTunes, thus seldom commenting. So, don’t worry, even though you won’t be hearing a word from me every once in a while, I am spreading the word all of the time. With little or no effect on your business, though, because you don’t ship to Germany. A strange business model, indeed, if you had to ship your German or French bottles first to the U. S. and then return them to Europe.
Let’s get straight to business right here! I am a creative director in an advertising agency (Bacardi etc.), and I am sure we can spark up an idea that will bring your business to life in Europe as well.

Good show! Hermitage is one of my favorite wines. I had a 1989 Jaboulet “La Chapelle” a couple of weeks ago, and it was absolutely fantastic….literally “knock your socks off!”

QOTD: Way too hot to be drinking great, old red wine outside. Better a cold winter day inside with the heat down low, and a fire in the fireplace, wisp-ping out smokey aromas to blend with the Hermitage bouquet and Manchego cheese and crusty bread to munch on. For a hot summer day, give me a chilled Prosecco or a high acidity, fruity still white wine.

  • Hi Gary,
Kirsten’s mom here ~ I love watching your WLTV episodes! And I have had Hermitage and do love it ~ wish I could afford it now. certainly not w/ burgers tho’

I know you want ideas about promoting “Crustit” ~ have some great thoughts for you to visit the affluent, wine loving Jersey shore. Let me know if you’re
    interested.

  • Great balcony show.. Love the Rhone, have yet to try a Hermitage, but already a fan of Guigal wines.
QOTD: If I can, invite friends and spend time in Central Park’s sheeps meadow.

  • Actually, I meant “CRUSH IT”! Need to get new eye glasses when I can edit. Oh the trials of aging 🙁

First of all I am spreading the love my man.

    Great show.

95 degrees is a bit hot for me to be outside, but I can find myself fishing in that kind of weather with a cold one (for temperature control).

Thanks for the Rhone plug – I work for a winery in AZ that makes many Rhone varietals. Your advice about buying older/ready to drink wines at the same price point as new wines that may need 10+ years to age is great for us old folks!

QOTD: Spent the 95-degree day bottling 1000+ cases of wine in a trailer with insufficient air conditioning => come back to AZ & review our wine so we can get some real cooling :).
