lines of the day – ‘you’re gonna buy the book anyway as I love you and you love me’ and ‘This is a Donkey Kong fire in your face ‘moment”

At the risk of sounding boring – what another great episode! Passion for days, a good guest and Mott trying to say the right thing…and failing…again. What more could anyone want?

    GV –

Great episode – i especially found your lesson on how to properly rinse the glass hysterical.

    Best wishes on the surgery.

QOTD – not yet because i’m still trying to figure out what i can do each and everyday that doesn’t feel like work – but i do want to thank you for inspiring me to base my career on something i’m passionate about – such a simple concept but you’ve driven it home since i see you as living proof!

    Hey Gary,

I listened to this show last night but did not have time to write a comment. I just hope that you are doing well post-op, and that you will soon be back, bringing the thunder to your fans [of which I am one]. Have a speedy recovery. It must be good to know that you have an entire store full of anesthetics. Just stop spitting out so much of the wine, and your knee should feel much better!

    Wishing you well from Scottsdale,

    Mike

I will be buying four copies of your book GV. Free shipping to Cali baby.

Answer to the QOTD: I love what I am doing. It is my son’s birthday tomorrow and I am listening to this episode and relaxing before I go wrap his gift. My day to day isn’t that great but I have a great family and I hope to be traveling with all my hard earned money.

Hope the surgery went well…been prayin’…

QOTD: I’m always doing something I love. Whatever God sends me, I’m pretty much happy with.

I’m either doing whatever I want to do(like now in my life), or I’m consulting with a manufacturing type business trying to get it to run smoother or solve some of it’s problems.

And now I’m REALLY doing what I love to do – LEAVING A COMMENT on WLTV and sipping a Von Schleinitz Riesling 2006!(I love this stuff…it’s actually addictive).

    Great show and recover well.

Gary -Thx for a funny show.
I have a question for you regarding wine glasses.
Long time ago you did a very interesting comparison between differnt glasses from Riedel – and you conclusion was that the glass really matters (which I also have found). However, now it seems as you more and more are using the “Big Ass Glass” (Is this the Bourgonge Sommilier?). So my question is if you have made futher comparisons and found out that this glass is the ultimate glass?
By the way – Hows your knee? I did knee surgery 3 days ago, the first nigth was bad even though I had some strong pain killers

    Great show!

I hope your surgery goes well and you have an expedient recovery. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for doing what you do. YOU make the world a better place because of it.

    Gary,

Pulled the trigger too quickly on my post. Try the Crusher Petite Sirah which was pretty tasty and given the lower ALC than most PETS worth the price.

Again, all the best for a speedy recovery.
