Dear Gary,

I am giving my review here. Been tasting all “Palazzo’s” since 1997. They are very harsh when young, but they become completely smooth and balanced after four tot five years. The 2006 reminded me of the 2001, still very closed. I m sure they will be very seductive with ripe fruits after a while.

Did not taste along but two of the wines, the Chelhalem Pinot Gris and the Allegrini were at the reserve tasting at the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta. The Allegrini was tasted right next to the Feudi Aglianico wine and came up a short second for me. Did not have the Ravenswood Zin at all because I have been consistently disappointed in Ravenswood wines since the takeover.
