I’ve gotten a solvent smell a few times and (at least with my customary, cheap plonk) it’s seemed to vary from bottle to bottle. My guess is that it comes from contamination (possibly from cleaning the equipment) that gets flushed out during the bottling run, but I could well be wrong. I wonder if you’d get the same smell if you tasted another bottle of the Atteca.
