    Gary,

The Spanish wines deliver lots of value. I especially like the Martin Codax Albarino and a Martin Codax red blend called “Ergo” [86% Tempranillo, 14% mazuelo]. Also, Eolo Tinto Crianza Garnacha [100% Grenache]- awesome!

QOTD: Since I am a University of Michigan grad, I gotta go with Tom
Brady & the Pats – sorry. Pats 31, Jets 13. I am looking forward to drinking some Spanish wines with you next year, at the tailgate party!!

  • Albariño is very possibly my favorite white varietal. Nice to see the NE Pats Stadium, thanks! QOTD: Pats 26 – NYJ 19.

Can SoCal golden boy Filthy Mark Sanchez play in cold weather? Pats pull it out. No way Belichick lets a division rival beat him twice.

Great show Gary! Its funny that you said what you said about the Atalaya because I had it over the summer and I thought the same thing. It was pleasant and nice to drink, but I agree in that I have had the style many times before. Anyway, Keep up the great work!

next time you have a jiggly table fold up a piece of paper and stick it under the short leg!

Kind of weird with the camera flashes as well, but a good show.

A little bit chaotic but overall very nice. Disturbing flashes.
    I ordered La Cana.

QOTD. I don?t know anything about American Football ? neither Belgian Football ? but I love, admire NY and drinking some good wine with Gary would be great. Therefore I predict the score: 17 / 11 for the Jets

QOTD: 24-10 Patriots. Love to be on the band wagon with you there, Gary, but I think they go home-and-home this year.

    No idea about the jersey.

Great show concept! Love that the show was classic old school WLTV despite the setting.

Glad to see Spanish wines on the show. I saw you scored the 2005 Atteca Armas well on a past show. If you haven’t already you absolutely must try the 2006 Alto Moncayo Garnacha (think raspberry vanilla creme brulee – I was bracing myself for the oak monster but it’s incredibly well integrated due to acidity). Also, since I know you’re a huge Portugal guy, the 2005 Azamor Petit Verdot is flat out the best QPR I’ve come across this year.

QOTD: Sorry, but I think teams are going to figure Mark Sanchez and Rex Ryan’s defense out as the season rolls on… Pats 27 – Jets 16.

  • Gary,

I would love to win this one so I going to do my research real quick.

Here is how it will go. With New England leading 20-17, Mark Sanchez hits Braylon Edwards with a perfect pass in the back of the endzone which he promptly drops. The field goal to tie goes wide left.

Pats 20-17. See you next year.

A little woozy from the shakey table–and you managed not to spill any wine. Nice touch with the vacuuming sound throughout he show.

QOTD: What happens if several people predict the correct score? It will be a fairly high-scoring game, because of a lot of sloppy fumbles by both teams, but the Patriots end up pulling it out 28-17.

    It’s obvious I know nothing about football. The 55 Jersey–Y A Tittle????????
