Wow… how many episodes did you tape before leaving? You da man GVee.

QOTD: I’ve had bubble twice in my life. Once on my birthday (someone else brought it and I don’t remember what it was), and at a wedding (never saw the bottle).

What’s awesome about all these pretaped episodes is his energy level stays the same even though he probably sat down for 18 hours and banged them all out at once. I can’t drink wine because of an allergy, but I watch just for the passion.

QOTD: Not a big bubble person. The best is a Piper Heidsieck Brut that I had with family fort Thanksgiving last year before my nephew headed off to Afghanistan.

Gary, tried a Refosco when visiting Paso Robles last month and would like to see you do an episode on that grape variety.

QOTD: I’ve never had champagne under the Eiffel tower, but the best bottle of champagne was in fact not the best champagne but a gathering with friends which made it special, after finishing school in Spain we decided to buy something to celebrate with and we picked one of the three local sellers and got two bottles of Freixenet Cava and one of Krug champagne which was all the bubbly they had in the store; three bottles, that’s it. As the evening went on we realized it was not enough for five guys but the sharing of stories and just being there as students made the evening immortal.

QOTD: My hubby and I enjoyed a bottle of local B.C. bubbly on our 10th anniversary. Just sitting on our deck on a beautiful evening in June relaxing with a bottle of Sumac Ridge Stellar Jay Brut. Amazing memories!
