Hi GV!! Welcome back!! We missed a lot your wine insights this 5 years. Being an original Vayniac, and thru all this years asking for you to come back, its very nice to see everything changed for the best. Hope the family is very well, Sasha, AJ, Lizzie and Misha (a little baby when you stopped WLTV)! I myself, have a lovely couple babies at home, 30 month old boy and 8 month old girl. Hope WLTV is back to stay!! QOTD: 2012 Quinta Maria Izabel tinto, Douro. Great wine!

welcome back Gary … that is all.

  • Mr Cook

Happy Holidays to all at Wl and the Vayniac nation. Old school nerding it up is what made WLTV a sucess and is where it should return to. That is the reason I am drinking a Falanghina as I write this, expanding palates. More blind is good as well as some appearances from the WL staff(Ian, Mott, SASHA).

Best wishes for a safe and healty 2010.

As a Browns fan and a Cuse fan, thank god college hoops is here!

  • QOTD: I’m always happy to see tight, home shows – and blind does add some appeal as I like the surprises and upsets involved. I’m always on the hunt for good wines, and enjoy your perspective, I suppose.

Enjoy your little girl’s first xmas!

I’ve been a lurker since the very beginning of WLTV (and I will go back to lurking after this post), but I simply cannot pass up this opportunity – I feel too strongly about the issue to stay silent.

WLTV should taste blind (if not exclusively, then at least as much as possible).

Thanks for a great four years, Gary.

    Cheers,

    -G

    Gary & Mott,

You two are the true meaning of wine entertainment!! You both consistently pump out super-doopa content that keeps me watching day-in& day-out. There is know one else like you two anywhere. Please keep up the tremendous work.

qotd…2010 – Lots more blind tastings would be great. Also do some shows on the female winemakers & review what they make, for example. Lane Tanner Pinot Noirs, Helen Turley Chards, Merry Edwards Sauv Blancs etc….

  • QOTD: Focus on wine. I love the blind tastings but a little variety is OK.

    I watch every episode.

The all blind tasting would be a little. I would love to you actually stick to a weekly based format like Monday and Tuesday are blinds, Wednesday is a guest, Thursday is Food Pairings and Friday is your choice (laid back).

QOTD: At least one blind tasting/week, Laid Back Fridays on the couch, one secret pack per month so Vayniacs can taste along. I like 15 to 17 minute episodes, not marathon two parters. You have had some great guests so keep that going. Really greatful for WLTV and the energy you bring – much appreciated. Happy Holidays!

  • I’d love to see a certain long-time Vayniac (me) get to be a guest on WLTV when Cliff Lee ventures back to NY to beat up on the Yankees again, only this time with the M’s.

Beyond that, honestly, I think the formula is working.
