QOTD: I brought serious thunder last year; I took care of my wife and kids after her breast cancer diagnosis/surgery/reconstruction/recovery…sometimes…thunder comes softly…

she's cancer free today…THAT brought thunder to my life!

“Aint's”, because they want it more.

  • Sir, I salute you!

  • DPnCali

Wow, that's excellent. Good to hear.

  • wneslage

Yes, That is some serious Thunder! God Bless, makes one put into perspective…Thanks!

  • One can only hope you have some of the Denogent available but that being said, an eye-opening show and agree, every Kermit Lynch wine I have purchased has been very, very good. Nevermind, I see a comment below that you are sold out! P.S. Throw out that old max-case rule, please.

QOTD: I barely bring a spark let alone thunder.

    Cheers!

  • allanj

That's serious thunder man! Great, and may she continue to stay that way. God bless you and your family

  • Awesome review!! must resist this deep desire to grab that until the weekend's around. kudos to Mott for some nice walk-around camera work!

qotd: Thunder?! I always bring the thunder .. every living second. like now … and now .. 🙂

  • To answer your greenboard question: EVERYONE but poor-sport/bitter Jets fans. 😉

    Go Colts!

  • Agree

  • bfr1028

As far as this sunday goes…. Who Cares .. is the camp im in.

  • allanj

I usually bring huge laughs when dancing ; )

  • DPnCali

“Barely bring a spark”…LOL. Good one.

  • wneslage

Uh, Gary nice Irish Lep. on your shirt… Making the right calls and starting the winning lineup for the Championship of my Fantasy Football League! Bragging rights for a whole year…cant wait for our next Draft!!! No…I guess it would be practicing with my son geting him ready for baseball try-outs this weekend…Good Luck T-Rey!

    Go Colts!

  • allanj

    That's very Beatle-esque! Great

  • Cheers! A very special thought on your part for a very special young man.

  • allanj

Spot on man, you're right. Gary would never wear such ….. a t-shirt ; )
Lady GaGa need i say more?

  • nice value find in chardonnay….

  • Great show. Excellent run these past few days, too.

QotD: I'm enjoying my daughter bringing the Thunder. Graduating to a brown belt in karate tomorrow…and the honor roll at school.

  • bfr1028

Thats what i was thinking… its a t-shirt for a 10 year old… LOL I truely hope thats why he is sporting it or he's gonna get a complex…. the only thing worse is if he wore a tie with it 🙂

  • lordsauvignon

Well this definitely gets one in the mood for some Chardonnay!

QOTD: Lastest thing to bring the thunder… made a monumental life changing decision, that has already shown itself to be the right one 🙂

…and yes I do remember said white erasers and I know exactly the smell you are referring too

  • cellarrat5

Yeah, I wanted to eat my keyboard it sounded so good.

  • allanj

    Oouuucchhh! That sounds cool. Congrats

  • Anonymous

LOL. Your too old, I’m too young, I guess we both missed out on that eraser fun!
I guess we’ll both have to find some of those erasers and try it out! To figure out what they really smell like on their own.

  • Mott, great tracking cam work today!

QOTD: We bring the thunder every day to El Paso, TX which is the number one Bud Light drinking city in the nation, by teaching wine classes in an attempt to help people expand their palates. Cheers!!!

  • guymandude

That, was a good show damn it.

  • cellarrat5

Fantastic show. I think what did it for me was the Mobile WLTV. You should do that every show. I NEED that Chard, seriously I am having withdraws and I have never had it.

QOTD: Today we did yeast additive trials that takes away harshness of tannins and other undesirable characteristics at the winery. Tried a Touriga National that I stirred for 6 months, tried a Tempranillo that I stirred by hand for 8 months and added yeast additive to it. I could defiantly tell the difference. That brought a whole goddamn storm system into my life. Thunder, lightning, tornadoes, Dorathy?s house, wicked witch of the west and the kitchen sink.

  • again zest enthusiasm to the hilt. makes me want to go out and by a bottle. tonight it was reign my cat and i watcing you. last thing that brought me thunder was purchasing your book and reading it. love ya gary say hi to mottl. once i start trying more of these wines ill be able to converse within the wine vocab whirrled. you rock mr. vaynerchuk. love gyfooma. meow thats reign. he is more of a hops and barly cat. lol but he does dig your show. as i do. i also enjoyed the tour throught your vino world peace…

  • laurieinvt

Nice little tour of the home turf. Capri Sun is delicious because it's sugar water with a little fruit floated through it! Sorry….

  • allanj

    Agreed.

  • laurieinvt

“Do you find me bashful Mott?” LOL

  • AntonT

enjoyed the show very much, I am eager to open a bottle of chard! QOTD Me helping people in need when it comes to hospitality. I work at an extended stay hotel and some of our guests are working very hard to make ends meet and here at my hotel we go that extra mile, say purchase presents from santa to give to some of the children who dont have presents to open on Christmas. To buying birthday cakes because their parents cant afford to get them one.

  • Love the chalk board Gary, I have been saying that all week…Its always tough when its not your team 🙁

I also want to say thank you for this show…its been a long time since you threw down a 94+ point score…lets keep this run of good wines going.

One more thought before I log out…I love the idea of linking up past episodes that share the same subject, it really saves time when you want to research a particular subject or grape…I do it all the time.

  • laurieinvt

These both sound terrific. Maybe St Veran should be our next tasting…
The Roger Denogent is sold out already. 🙁 That's what I get for eating supper first!

QOTD: Stepped up to being co-coordinator of the migrant workers' dinner our church periodically does, instead of just helping out with the meal.

  • AmyNYC

I'd like my last sip to be a white burgundy, but the only St. Veran I tasted was meh so I wasn't eager to explore, until now. Glad to hear you reference your previous episodes. I recently took a wine class and every week would watch all your episodes for the particular varietals we were studying. So useful. THANK YOU! QOTD: Well, being from the midwest I'd never admit to bringing thunder, I'd just apologize for the rain.

  • allanj

Lol. you have got humour. Sorry i didn't answer the king Q, but i couldn't. I could only Like not reply. Gonna do it here.
Presley was the man. Love his 70's music… too cool. 50's was great too. 60's my least favourite… How do you feel about that???

  • laurieinvt

    Go commercials! 😉

  • I bet you bring thunder more then you think…It doesnt matter where you are from.

  • She is awesome. Nothing like having a 12 year old daughter that can kick my butt! 🙂

  • Ok, this Thunder wins!

  • That Gary…he can sometimes ask some really silly questions…makes you wonder 🙂

  • portwineisred

I am so used to Napa oak that I have to get away from it and explore the world, will try these. My recent thunder: speaking my mind at work, not playing it safe by being silent, going against the company for the sake of trying to be better, this is the corporate restaurant world in California. Good job keep it up!

  • SourGrapesFC

GV, I'm still loving the edutainment. Keep bringing it.

qotd: I smoked some pork ribs the other day that were pretty thunderful.

  • howitzer

This episode had a little of everything….2 great wines (one that really brought the thunder), an impromptu tour of the back of the WL house and a link to a previous episode and I loved “Mott, do you find me bashful?…Good stuff!
Saints vs. Colts..I agree, who cares! Maybe we can have an also ran game between your Jets and my Vikes.
QOTD: Led a mission trip to the Philippines.

  • allanj

    Thunderful… LOL that's wonderful thunder?

  • bfr1028

I like all Elvis especially the lessor known tracks… CCR would be my next choice..I DJ from time to time so i listen to a lot of music.

Have you tried fryed peanut butter and bannanna Erasers yet ???? 🙂

  • plcb
