I expected the worst when i found out that the guest was a commenter on the show…but it turned out that there was a great chemistry between him and GV so it worked pretty well.

WineCrazy: I know you have been reading and commenting on the forum for like the last 27 hours strait, But I really want you to try that BRAZILIAN wine (MIOLO: LOTE 43) You state you like BIG Bold in your face, eat with steak Wine, Well you have seen the Brazilian Steak houses around town, This is what they serve.

If you don't like it, Let me Know and I'll reimburse you for it. I don't have an interest in the winery, I am just a huge Fan of wines from Brazil.

I live in Chicago, and you know how they like their Steak and potato's.

  • winecrazy

Yeah…..shopping bags full of big juicy chewy delicious dense luscious bombastic over the top fruit bomb bottles of wine…..lol

Great way to kick off the summer and stock up the wine cellar here at the shore…. 🙂

    Gary,
You are a gem and it is nice to see you giving loyal support to your loyal followers. Glen looked totally comfortable and that has a lot to do with you and how you treat your peeps! Blah, blah, blah…. You know what I'm saying. It seems like it would be hard to mention a big, hedonistic wine that Glen hasn't tried except the ones tasted in this episode. Turley Zinfandel (I'm not sure which version I had) was so jammy and big I almost could not get a glass down. Mount Baker Vineyards (Washington State) just released a zinfandel (2007) that was so intense I started to cough when I took the first hit off of it. Anything from Molly Dooker would have to fit into the big, jammy hedonistic hurt your teeth category.
Good job WineCrazy it was nice to see you on the show.

Try and get the 1999 vintage, it's still massive, 10-15 years on, I reckon it'll last forever and Jim Irvine is a terrific bloke.

Do you think that is interessing?

  • Randall

Wow!! Guess you could call me “Eaglepointe”…
I always appreciate businesses that care about and take care of their customers… those being the people that pay their mortgage, etc. Very cool…
(Ya gotta admit, if you WERE really THAT Castello, you’d dig that “Callistello” spelling of the town!!)

…Yeah, one time not too long ago, on the way up to Ore’goner’ land, in the very early misty morning, I pulled over there to enjoy a big ol’ espresso-laden latte as the sun was just BARELY attempting to burn through the aforementioned mist… felt like I was in “Braveheart”…

  • waynooo

Yo Allan, “slackin' ” means Ya wasn't commenting EEEENOOUUUGGHHH !!!!!!!!
    :O)

  • DAveAll

More viewers on the show!!! They are as good as many of the wine distributors! liked the show. 2 years he's been watching? Man, he's a newbie! I've been watching every show since show 242! and went back and watched the first 241 in the first 3 months of joining! My fav show is still you in the snow with traffic and snow plows behind you, snowing down. tasting whites. You need more “man on the scene” type shows! get off the couch and away from the table.
This show was like having friends talk – very nice… The guest doesn't watch sports – just like me! wow ! I like him even more!!! I will seek his posts.

    Get Patrick on next! epic.

QOTD: could not say. sorry. I just don't remember them all.

  • DAveAll

and… support animal shelters, cause they can't make wine. hahahahaha

  • Randall
