I expected the worst when i found out that the guest was a commenter on the show…but it turned out that there was a great chemistry between him and GV so it worked pretty well.

Love The Pines 1852 Old Vine Zin–too difficult to get shipped to NJ, which is why Gary should carry it at WL!!

Glen! Good work raiding the wine library. Loved your picks.

Most “Juice Bomby” wine I have ever had is hard to say, but a close top two would include Merus and Mollydooker Velvet Glove.

Glen your a natural, you barely have to roll out of bed, and there you are speaking about wine. So you get to enjoy all the facets of wine making. I see you are quite a knowledgeable person. So next time I am sitting and wondering about certain foods, whether to go fruity or mer lot, I am not a fan, but my husband is. He is Calabrese, so yeah, he likes dark-er wines. I prefer the more lighter Pino Noir. Very nicely done Glen.

  • I really dug Sofa King Bueno by Chronic Cellars, that's a pretty heavy fruit bomb in my opinion. Great show. I'd like to see more long time commentator guests on. 🙂

  • winecrazy

Thanks 5 times Gloria…lol There seems to be a glich in the comment area. It says it didn't go through, but it does.

  • Glen!! You were GREAT (really)!!! I loved the show and glad to know the guy behind the name (WineCrazy). Thanks for recommendations, too.

    QOTD: I would suggest: http://www.ernaschein.com/
Lewis Cabs (you can google this one)
I love Zin: Seghesio rockpile zin and Four Vines, Tobin James

  • Night and day over the last episode! Nice rebound Gary. Love to hear two people who are passionate about wine chatting and reacting in an honest way. Have to say I also continue to be impressed with how you respect your guests, their pal, and where they are on their wine journey. Great message. Nice to “meet” you WineCrazy!

QOTD: Most recent was probably Chappellet Signature Cab. I believe they pick like the top 10 barrels. Very good wine though felt too pricey, also didn't like the hard sell at the end of the visit.

  • That one is on my list to try. Good to get a recommendation though.

  • amsgpwarrior

Loving the guest shows when they are like this. don't so much care for obscure wine producer guests. Fans rock! Great job Glen!
QoTD: I don't drink very many huge, bombastic wines, but the bigger ones ive tried and liked are Two Hands Charlie's Patch and Dolium Gran Reserva Malbecs. Enjoy!

  • Another great guest !

QOTD: I can think of one wine that might be what WineCrazy is looking for, Culmen Rioja 2004, it's big and in your face with fruity goodness.

Rock on Glen! Cali is too far from Jersey for comfort. When I get out there I hope to be a part of your Jersey Shore grillin'.

QOTD: 2005 Leal Vineyard “Godsend”. It blew my face off.
