    Hot day, perfect for beer!

  • Google Chrome works fina, as Firefox, as IE8 as Opera 10. Its alla about the cookies and those I don’t care about since I have a firewall that really works so I can switch off the bad Windows one.

  • posted to late for me. This will be a morning show for me. % min last night 33 this, talk about shifting quick, oh and a guest, that leaves one for the rest of the year, right?

I love homebrew. I made some for the first time a few weeks ago. Is this stuff available in WA state?

  • I’m a fan of Victory, they do some really good stuff. They’re just outmatched on this first head to head. The St. Bernardus tripel KILLS Golden Monkey.

    Looking forward to part II.

  • Tons of it is. Where in WA are you?

Federal Way has a great bottle shop called 99 bottles. Seattle has Bottle Works. Most places have something. Heck even Haggen’s has a decent bottle selection depending on the store.

Awesome show! Can’t wait for part 2. Big fan of Pilsner, hope yours is better than the PU!
G you only interupted him a few times. Where are the details of your Tahoe weekend?

  • jamjo

Snappin a Smthwick’s Ale in honor of la show. Nice to hear the the guest mic issue has been dealt with…….hopefully.

Beer?? Ah, what the hell… I am from the Milwaukee area. Cool show. One of my local faves is New Glarus – great stuff comes out of that small Wisconsin brewery.

  • Prima Pils is sooo much better than Pilsner Urqell, and Festbier blows Paulaner away, Golden Monkey is amazing, i haven’t had St. Bernardus in a while but i would say it’s in for a fight!!

I guess I have brought the “first” thing to the level of the absurd. But fan
is derived from fanatic so I guess that we all get carried away with
competition. Sincere congratulations on your win! (amid much gnashing of
    teeth)

  • Randall

St Bernardus Tripel is the best beer on the screen right now… But several of their other beers are even better. (8, 10 and 12 come to mind. Not to mention their De-freakin- liscious Christmas ale!)
Victory Brewing is no slouch, either. Festbier is mm mm good. As is Baltic porter, etc. Now to watch…

    p.s. It’s summer guys… where’s your Whirlwind Wit today?

  • Randall

    :)!!

    You will appreciate it.
    Replied in haiku.

  • Randall

    Jack’s new fad began.
    Much to chagrin of many.
    Screw them anyway.

    ;P

Yet another non-wine show; glad the guest is at least interesting

    looking forward to part 2.
I do love Saint B 3 its brings the thunder

  • Just Jack

    If guests are so-so
    I have to amuse myself
    Even if others fret.

  • Randall

    Discus oh discus
Why are you haunting my dreams?
    Well… nightmares, really.

    And by the way, Jack
    Interesting guests are good
    We should show the love.

Guests rock the thunder show! About ten more to go.

  • Monday – TIGHTER show of a scant 5 minutes
Tuesday – 34 minute show with beer
    Wednesday – ?
    Thursday – Profit
    Friday – Buy Jets

This show is so schizophrenic. No guests! Guests! New 5-minute format! 33-minute show! Value wines! These wines are for ballers!

…I don’t know about anyone else, but more than anything else, I’d prefer some consistency.

  • Thank you castello. That’s why your on the Christmas card list. 😀

  • A dumb Rhein king

Thank your for the comment about hating numbers when it comes to business. Numbers always get taken out of context and get used incorrectly to bolster decisions that have already been made.

  • How can you tell the difference? Does it has the EVIL Disqus have a gotee? 😉

  • How you can you not? Just look at the puppy dog eyes JF is giving you. 😛

  • My favorite yet is Victory at Sea topped with framboise = beergasm.
