Lines of the day – ‘I literally want you to take a bell pepper, turn it into a boxing glove and punch me in the face’ and ‘If this was the 1960’s Mott would be smoking a lot of pot and I still wouldn’t be talking about Merlot.’

Great show, GV absolutely on point and pumped full of energy. This is what WLTV is all about

  • Yes, it’s true.

  • I’m a fan of white and confess I haven’t dipped my toe into Greek enough yet, my friend, however, seems to be looking for red more. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Yeah well then boutari grand reserve naoussa.

This is my first comment but i have been watching for about 3 months now. I am 26 and new to wine, but pretty pumped up about trying some new wines.

    QOTD: I don’t have an ‘ i ‘ anything.

Also, have you ever tasted any wines from Michigan on the show?

  • Yeah Madeira is somehow not as popular as Port though it brings as much to the party (IMHO). Tannat is not something I am familiar with. I will have to look into it. I started wondering about something from Piedmont last night.

  • Don’t give up. KMurph looks like a catch!

    QOTD: yes, iphone and ipad

    IPhone yes! Great media window

I have an iPad and a Verizon iPhone coming soon.

I have an iPad and will soon acquire a Verizon iPhone.

  • I have an iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV. FYI Gary The Apple TV brought me back to your show. It is a lot better on the TV than the PC for whatever reason. Thanks as always.

No Iphone or pad, just got my workbook though. Great to see the comments growing…keep up the good work GV!

No I phone or IPad. Good episode – please keep reviewing the value priced wines!

No Ipad; no IPhone. Keep up the great work – especially the brown bag and value episodes.

No Mac product under my belt, at least for now, I need to get a new smartphone and I love the Iphone4 but I don’t know everyone who has it tells me to get it, everyone who has an android tells me to get an android…Oh what to do, what to do???

  • No iPad or iPhone. Running with the Android.

I am a CKC but unfortunately I am 36 and enrolled in the University of Reality. By the way applications are way down for the incoming class.

  • We have an iPad and 2 iPod touch 4’s. We only have Verizon out here in Montana so we would have to wait for the new phone to come out. Acually you can do quite a bit with the Touches. We text and call on it all the time in WiFi’s with Textfree and it’s totally free, plus you can still Facetime.

    I don’t have either one.

The comments keep growing because Mr. Insecure (GV) needs that ego push and so he keeps calling the Lurkers out. It’s all about inflating that noggin of his. We Love Him All The Same! :O 😉

I had an iphone, then I used it as a frisbeee (don’t do this) and now I’m waiting to upgrade to the 4 in a few months.

  • QOTD: No, and I will never have 😉

love the flow of the shows lately.

had a few value chinons also lately, and have enjoyed them tremendously. though my circle of friends find them slightly strange.

I have tried Chrome and the same thing. I’ll try Firefox next. 😛 Disgust!

  • Was that a blooper reel at the end? Nice.

QOTD: Nope, I don’t own either. Is this qotd market research for the possibility of a winelibrary tv app?

Also I just graduated last year but I’m still kind of in the #CKC University of Missouri.

QOTD: Neither. Just an I-touch, purely for music.

  • Greetings from Koh Samui, Thailand!

Great show and lots of energy ! Sorry it ended with a disappointing bottle and, yes, that label looks kind of cheap!

For what I had learned Madiran, because of the Tannat grape, should not be drank unless 8 or 10 years old… is that correct ?

QOTD: yes, iPhone 4 and iPad at the restaurant, there are some cool wine apps for both of them, some free, some need to pay. A few comments ago I had asked if there was any app for winelibrarytv… and i can’t watch the videos on my iPhone, always get some kind of an error message.

QOTD: Both! Ipad was a gift so nothing I would have bought for myself but it is pretty cool.

Vayniacs – if you’re a Chinon fan or looking to expand, see if you can find Chateau du Petit Thouars. They are just outside the Chinon AOC but make a fantastic Cab Franc. One of my Loire favorites.

GV – loved this show – keep the info coming and bring it on even more! Not asking for myself but how about some shout-outs to the Vayner Ladies? What is up with that?! I feel like this is turning into the Old Boys’ Network! 😉

    Yes, iPhone.

    Yes, iPhone.

QOTD: wife has an iphone and ipad. I do not.

Nice outtakes…now I see why you switched it up with VON-ner-chuk.

  • #CKC here–if grad students count. Would be thrilled if you stopped by UC Berkeley. Lots of wine perks around town. No iPhone, but switching over as soon as $$ allows. The shows have been ripping recently. Keep it up.

    QOTD: Yes.

  • Neither 🙁

  • Great show. I felt the “green pepper boxing glove” reference. This is my first comment, but I’m a longtime CKC lurker from Towson University in Baltimore. As soon as we get this direct shipping bill passed in Md, I look forward to joining your wine club and trying some new wines.

    QOTD: iphone yes; ipad no

  • QOTD: Yes, both… 😉

Randall brought a bunch of serious beers to our wine tasting so I know he has alot! He also brought lots of wine and stickies!

Because it is there. How do you not say it? Is it like Merlowwww?

  • RobinC

QOTD: I have neither. I have Virgin Mobile for $7.00 a month (a plan which they seem to have discontinue so my days may be numbered). IPhone is a jillion dollars a month. What features could it possibly have to entice me to spend that much money?

  • Anonymous

yep got an iphone. waiting for the next gen for an ipad.

  • Anonymous

Love the value episode. It was also fun to watch the VON ner chuck video.
    QOTD: neither. Droid baby!

  • Jr.Vol from Tennessee. I gave up my Iphone because of AT&T’s lousy cell service. My phone (74 yrs old) just got an Ipad for XMas and loves it!

Your shows are great. Can’t wait to help you celebrate 1,000 shows!

  • Sam_mtl

Hi Gary! Im a new Vayniac (hardcore one!). I can’t pay my bills, cauz i spend too much into wines!!
I have a question…What LIBAN and the BEKAA region sounds like for you Gary?… I do not find any review in your past episodes…
    Cheers!

  • Randall

Thank you, my good and slanderous man! :D!!
Some decent wines and old beers that had just gotten
away with their jailbreak… but no stickums my friend…
