Gary — Is it true that some wine critics give ratings relative to the region, meaning that a 91 point Cru Beaujolais is not meant to be compared with a 91 point Bordeaux or a 91 from Spain? I heard that WA does their ratings this way and I was curious if you do this also when you score a wine?

QOTD: Miss Rimmer. I loved her because she was sort of uptight, but at times she would say the funniest things and crack me right up. Many kids didn’t like her but I thought she was fabulous!

I am a college student and huge WLTV fan. I can’t find any other students who are wine fans though!! (They all seem to have been living in a bubble their whole lives!)

I went to a tasting as well. Had another Picpoul de Pinet. Apples, green melon. Crisp, but not really like a Sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio.

QOTD: My 5th grade teacher was pretty great –> Mrs. Daniels. She, more than any other teacher, gave me confidence in my academic abilities that kept me afloat through the emotionally turbulent middle school years that followed. Yep, 5th grade is an important year.
