Sorry MikeyB, but come on. It’s obvious that Coach Vermeil most likely meant “bad” wine when he said “cheap” wine. Do you really think that the Coach would refuse to drink a great bottle of wine just because it is inexpensive? I doubt it.

ps… I was in a Wine store called John and Petes in Hollywood. They do pretty well, catering to the Hollywood crowd. I made them bring you up on WLTV to view the Priorat Episode, then the Neal Cab. They are now on board.

Awesome episode! This is only my second post ever and could not resist telling you how much I enjoyed Coach Vermail and company. You never seem to stop amazing.

That was the most polite oak monster I’ve seen. I think Vermeil thought the oak monster was a player on the Jets (looked baffled)! Dick —errr Richard – needs to watch more often if he wants to be a true Vaniak.

Props to their site for saying “OK, there’s Loire cab franc, and then there’s ours.” I’ve had several California cab francs purporting to be in a Loire style that didn’t even seem close. Not that there’s anything wrong with that–juicy can be good.
