great show and happy 2 year anniversary. I’m a new viewer, started around episode 400 when you threatened to quit the show. Didn’t think too much of it at the time but I realize now that it would have been a shame if you did. I am actually lucky to enter so late in the game – just think of all the old episodes I can watch! Love the show, been starting to try out some new things thanks to you and I hope to expand my palet even more in the future.

The WA Vayniaks are having a huge Spanish blowout on Saturday (Thursday?, no way, man, gotta get up and go to work) I can’t wait to meet all the great Vayniaks from Washington state. I also can’t wait to meet you at taste Washington GV.

SOTD: The best people are involved in wine. I’ve met some truly great people because of wine. It restores my health by drinking it and my faith in humanity when I share it.

I was once a young twenty something who believed that wine was “better” if it was more expensive. Now, I am a thirty something who knows better – I love, LOVE, to explore new things and discover new bargains. I have relished in the joyous embrace of a crazily good seven dollar cab from Paso Robles – and I have suffered from the the crushing disappointment of a 20 cab from a major producer in, say, Napa….(Rodney Strong comes to mind….). Wine is an adventure. I love being a part of it. Thanks, Gary, for being around. It means a lot to us.

412 episodes in 2 years… at 20-30 minutes your shows are as long (or longer) than sitcoms. I doubt there has EVER been a sitcom that has produced anything remotely close to 412 episodes… EVER… and most are not as interesting… impressive … keep up the great work…

Gary, you’ve made me do it. I am no longer a lurker. Thank you for continuing with this show, I hope to see at least 100 more episodes. Heck, I’m just getting into the whole wine tasting scene, and I’m loving it. I’m eating foods I’d never thought I’d try, tasting new wines every chance I get, my pal is constantly being tested and trained, and I have you to thank for it. Congrats on 2 years and over 400 videos.
