Tremendous episode, tremendous guest. Watching Gary learning is pure entertainment. This is what WLTV is all about; new experiences and knowledgeable, fun guests. Loved it.

VALIANT COMICS! Gary makes a reference that pulls an avowed lurker out of the shadows.

Want to trade Warriors of Plazm cards Gary? My binder is in Mom’s basement, I looked at it last time I was home.

QOTD: my optimism is from the new things that I learn everyday, and from a guy named Gary Vay-ner-chuk.

QQOTD: Yup, tequila is for shots and margaritas; Mezcal is for sippin.

QOTD: Popping a cork from my cellar with my wonderful family.

Love the guests Gary. Warming up for a network show?
I will say guests, blind tastings, and other experiments are what I really enjoy. Keep up the good work!

Episode #48 you sat on the right side of the Meekers. Interesting show. I have never heard of Mezcal but it sounds very unique. Will have to give it a try.

QOTD: I find optimism in the American spirt. That is all I need.

Hey Gary, great show. Richard Betts is a great guest. With the way the economy is and all the problems in the world, it’s refreshing to see someone so laid back and upbeat.

I have never tried mezcal but I go to a tequila bar pretty often, so I will check if they carry it.

QOTD-I am a pretty upbeat person, so other positive people usually reinforce my vibe and keep me going.

  • Great show. I’m a fan of Mezcal but it’s pretty tough to find in Washington.

QOTD: I try an extract as much as possible from the little things in life.

Thanks for the heads up on Mezcal. I’m off to Google to find out more.

  • QOTD – Yes, have had mezcal. Delicious.

QOTD Dos – I can’t say I am overly optimistic, however I see ZERO benefit in being pessimistic. I just don’t. It has no value add or benefit in my mind whatsoever. So by default I am usually more of a realist with a slight optimistic bend.

GV LESSON OF THE DAY – Since you are all up in the grill of the education system all of a sudden. You want to talk about trying new things and expanding the palate, if you want some SMOKE seek out some Lagavulin scotch (16 year) from Islay. It will explode in your face with cigar ash and campfire that will put you down for days. You will have cartoon smoke gushing from your ears, you will have Indians running over in seek of the message, and you will be hit square in the maw with a pre-smoke-ban-vintage-bowling-alley flavor so strong and so real you will have reached smokers enlightenment without ever having to light up.

And decent show btw. I’m kind of iffy on the guests but I’m trying.

I have tried the Mezcal with the dirty worm inside and it sucks.

My inspiration comes from my family and knowing that good things are always on the horizon.

GV QOTD…Never tried it but you’ve peaked my interest! The real QOTD…My optimism stems from my passion for wines. There are some many that I’ve not had the pleasure to try, which feeds my appetite for more!

GARY, am I the only poster to notice the “F-BOMB” you dropped at the end of this Show? Thanks for keeping it REAL!

some guys who run a cafe (cafe no se) in antigua, guatemala have had a small mescal operation running for a few years. i’m not sure if they are distributing anywhere in the US, but after trying their stuff a few years ago i fell in love with scotch’s mexican cousin: http://www.ilegalmezcal.com.

  • Was at a great wine dinner at Brix in Flagstaff recently with Richard and Bobby Stuckey. Great time. Love the Sombra. Very smooth Mezcal.

GV, thanks for branching out. Mezcal deserves more run.

  • QQOTD: YES!!!!!!!

Thank you GV, you had a spirit tasting on the show!!!! Mezcal is AMAZING. I’m in love with Del Maguey. They make 7 different kinds I believe, that vary in their complexity and smokiness. I’m super interested in trying the Sombra now in comparison. Richard is definitely on to something (I could see you were picking up on it as well). I started drinking Mezcal about 5 years ago, and as a bartender, I’ve seen it increase dramatically in popularity. Hey, if you ever want a bartender on the show – don’t hesitate to contact us out here at Baytenders. Also, there’s an AMAZING small, family-owned distillery up on the hill in St. Helena, CA called Charbay. They’re doing ridiculous things with spirits (they do wine too) – You should check them out.

QOTD: The excitement that each day brings unknown opportunities, challenges, and reward. Having a business/job that allows me to interact with people everyday that are equally as passionate. Stunningly beautiful California. And of course, my amazing gf Audrey 🙂

  • NOOOO … you sat on the right in episodes 638 and 637 at Cru as well. Gary come on … not on you A game.

QOTD – business is booming in the web design world
