Nice show Gary!

I have a proposition for a show! How about a ?Global Crisis go away show?, you?ll taste (blind would be fun!) top wines from countries around the globe to show there is a lot to be proud of, at least in the wine world. My line-up would be:

Great show! I was really interested in your comments on these wines.

I think a Scholium Project show is in order. I had one of his 2007 Sauv Blancs and it was the strangest wine I have ever had. Orange in color, hot and funky. Am I missing something here?

would emerge from behind those white curtains about 2/3rds of the way
through this ep.

This is the first whole episode I have watched and I really liked it. I think you are very entertaining and I look forward to watching much more of you. I am new to seriously drinking wine ( being drunk off franzia wine in college does not count) but grew up in the Sonoma Valley and have recently really enjoyed touring the local vinyards tasting, and experiencing all the wine while opening and exploring my palate. I look forward to learning from your show in a fun way.

Hey Gary, Loved the show. thought it was really a great way to step up the tempo from yesterday! No offense to Mott, but really is always high energy when it is just you and the flip cam. Hope to see more of the “wine shop” episodes as you travel more this year!

If you’re ever in L.A. area again, Gary, don’t forget to take the 1 down the beautiful coastline til you get to Laguna Beach. There you’ll find, on your left hand side as you drive just past the center of town (gets hairy during rush hour) a restaurant titled “Royal Thai Cuisine”. At this wonderful establishment you will try the mango with sweet sticky rice (only available in the summer) and you will shat yourself it’s so good.

Gary, you would be perfect for a “Four Sheets” kind of show–running around the world tasting wines and encountering all kinds of people and situations. You could slay a show like that.

1st time commenter, long time lurker. I’d have to say I didn’t hate yesterday’s show, it’s nice to see some variety in the program. CH like you said with SUXX has it’s time and place and it was a different view people have of wine that again is a nice change of pace.

PS with regards to ep 503 what happened to the whole contest?

QOTD: Remember, were changing the wine world one step at a time. This was a big step and some may not realize that you are bring wine to different demographics and to people who may not without you have realized a new found love for it. Keep it up!

really like the off the cuff/ in the hotel room/ no jive/ drinkin by yourself episodes. i would probably never have picked any of these wines but that is why we walk the earth. actually, after this, i might hit up the molly dooker whites. $25 is fair and maybe get a hint at the hoooplah.
in terms of the CKC show – fuck it! who cares what other people say!

Gary, I really enjoyed yesterday’s show (It was different and it was FUN) and I really enjoyed today’s show as well – again, different and FUN – as always! You are taking the road less traveled and I love it! Keep building 🙂

don’t let anyone tell you it wasn’t a good episode, because it was a classic!

remember: it doesn’t always have to be about professional wine tasting and reviewing. sometimes it is nice to hear what amateur wine tasters have to say.

Gary, You are a road-warrior and clearly committed to your viewers. Love that. I feel like you take the BS out of wine drinking. Love that too. Also, guest variety is much appreciated despite a bad one here or there, I mean, cheese is priced, did you see joaquin phoenix on letterman?

I like the change of scenery. The episode would have been really fun if you had also taped the ‘experience’ of purchasing wine in the store. QOTD should have been ‘What am I watching on TV while taping the episode?’ Keep up the great work and thanks for shelling out $75 to share an episode with us on the road.

Like most, wasn’t feelin the CH show. maybe if they just kicked it like normal guys learnin some wine and weren’t “in character”. but I guess thats they’re thing. Better show today though. although the f’d up Chewy impression brought cheap chiraz through my nose! Hilarious. Keep bringin the thunder

Gary, I love these imprompt to shows! And I think it just hit you, but the shopping is half the fun! Going through and reading labels, looking at vintages etc, etc.

The shows yesterday was not a train wreck. It was like trying a new wine, it wasn’t my glass of wine, but I tried it! It had a few good moments and the guys sense of humor didn’t really shine through. I appreciate you trying something new, I looked at thier website today and honestly if they hadn’t been on your show I would have never seen it! So like wine, it’s good to look and try new things.

Gary, I’m a lurker but had to come out to say that yesterday’s show did suxx. Today’s made up for it and I appreciate the effort you put in to WLTV.
I would like you to keep each show to under 20 mins, discuss good wines so that we learn something new, and talk about all the other stuff that makes the show so much fun.
