GV, great show. Loved it. As for yesterdays show, you dealt with that nicely. Part of the problem with yesterdays show is that you were being judged against your normal show’s standard. You have raised the bar and yesterday fell short. So what I say. Worth a shot.

QOTD : I checked out the old episode of AJ’s 21st. Great show and a great ending. That show was really cool. I have a big brother too and I loved that ending – great to see it man. Keep bringing the Thunder !

Great show Gary. I just sorta got into wine library tv the other day, heard about it lots but never really gave it a shot. gotta say, I’m hooked. looks like I got quite the backlog to get through though and with university finals coming up, that means plenty of required procrastination aids. I think i may have found the perfect thing to help me not get my work done!

Gary, great show. I love the hotel versions, little less set up can be good sometimes. Yesterday you did exactly what you always say to do, try different things. Some work, some don’t. But you tried. Keep up the good work.

Gary – great show.. Funny that you ask about white wine matching red someday. I just recently (like 1-2 wks ago) would have said NEVER! But just recently I had a white burgundy that completely rocked and a chenin from Anjou that was insane. They made me rethink that dichotomy entirely.

I am starting to think that maybe the gap from really good to profound is greater and easier to span with white wine. Like get a good white burgundy and it is so far superior to your run of the mill QPR white. With reds it seems a QPR can get closer to the elite. Though its not like ive had a 45 Romanee-Conti, and i probably never will.. (had to throw the probably in there)

Gary, I though this episode was great. Thanks. I’d like to see you go shopping for the wines more often when you’re away from home. I was so happy to hear you mention Madeira. I look forward to seeing an episode on it. You could tell the interesting story behind how the style originated. I wonder how many episodes it’s been since the last time you didn’t ask a question of the day.

Got an idea for an on the road show:

Find a local store, and ask if you could walk around the store and tape yourself talking about wine. Maybe if they have wine tasting table, do one there, but mostly just share your thoughts about what you see on the shelves.

Good show – what was on the TV? Kept trying to figure it out from the reflections on the glass. Flipcam couldn’t seem to keep up with the changes in light levels – nice effect.

By the way, do you travel to Asia or any sort? Have always heard of you travelling around US or touring Europe for wine trips. Good show. It was good to see how you addressed the college kids show. Even if you hit a klinker now and then please keep stepping outside the box. It keeps the show fresh, even if they arn’t my favorites. If you don’t swing you are not going to hit the ball.
