  • i don’t think it gets any better than pizza and wine. a pretty darn close to perfect meal if you ask me. that said, was beyond psyched to see it as the topic of today’s wine library tv!

    QOTD: throw the pizza dough on the grill, flip it after two minutes, add thinly sliced zucchini and white onion, close the grill for a minute, then add some grated mozzerella, and grated garlic and close for another minute till the cheese melts. top it with torn basil and mint and THAT is a seriously good pizza.

    He was interesting, wished he could have expanded some on the cheese choices, and ingredients he likes. He was a funny dude, his deadpan style was hugely entertaining to me.   • Lapp is THE MAN. There is NO ONE who knows, loves and “gets” pizza like he does. It is a pleasure to watch. This is the man who will take pizza into the social media future effectively and profitably (for those smart enough to go with him).

    Gary, knowing lots about football doesn’t make you smart. There are millions of folks talking on sports radio that could bore us to death about power ratings and so much blah blah. I love sports, but yammering about stats and crap is just meh.

    Pizza expert named it. I have a very hard time getting over the ALCOHOL in wine. I want to like wine, but hate the taste of ALCOHOL (and the heat).

  • When I have a pizza show, I hope my viewers do not ridicule the guest I have on the show, just because they don’t like eating it. Obviously you have guests for a reason. Sometimes you need to help out members of similar communities.

    I actually liked the concept behind the show. If Gary would have given Lapp the chance to actually talk about his area of expertise (pizza), maybe we could have benefited from the combination of their knowledge. I enjoyed Lapp’s sense of humor, but not so much Gary’s eating manners. I’ll just go visit his website instead…

I don’t think it made sense to try to get your name out there in such an awkward way. I know people around here can be harsh (I haven’t read all of the comments, so I don’t know if that’s the case here), but I stand by my point and theirs, even if some people were rude about it.

    Good concept for the show. I enjoy pizza and wine quite often. But I havent had a white wine with pizza yet. I did have one, but it was a white wine that had been opened too long, so it got dumped :(.

    QOTD: Interestingly enough, I didnt actualy eat pizza until I was 13-14 years old. I started off being such a picky eater in my earlier life. But now I LOVE IT!! My favorite topping is pepperoni and bacon from this local place called Torinos.

    Please I could care less about the Jets and I’m so so with the Dolphins But come on Leave pussy boy Pennigton alone. Give credit where credit is do. He led the league in passing percentage with the Jets and now with the Dolphins. Ask Vicky Boy to do that, he cant even throw a dog a bone. Throwing a completion in the NFL is almost as hard as hitting a MLB curve ball. You dont even have an inch of space to get the ball in there because the defenses are so fast nor do you have any time. So no matter what offense your running or what team if you can lead the league every year in passing compleations your good. YOu guys are knocking him like its easy. He is leading the NFL in compleation pct. HELLO. And this is the best damn Wine show. Periode. I also wont let no-one knock your show I’ll kick there ass..
    Lets Go EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pizza Boy sucked his web site sucks but Gary I’m a little dissapointed in since I watch every episode. Also realizing how gifted you are. When your guest sucks and you dont like them you can tell it shows right through. You can make them better guest but its how you interact with them. When they suck it is your job to bring them out of there shell. I mean i got to sit through the whole episode and it is a bit dis-jointed (your term) when I got to see alot of uncomfortablity. its just awkward. Puts me in a bad mood. Lets go EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!
