Great show, GV’s imagination and finely tuned nose and palate continue to amaze. He picks up a corked wine on the tail end of a quick sniffy sniff. Phenomenal

    Maybe this is a sign you should go back to doing off-beat white varietals from Europe! My general experience with Malbec, though limited, has been solid but with nothing really super exciting or outstanding so far.

    Glad to see a show on Argentine wines. It was too bad that the Catena Alta Malbec was corked. I wish one day I will have a chance to taste their flagship, the Nicolas Catena Zapata.

    Speaking of Argentine wines, one of the best wines that I had this year was the 2006 Finca Decero Amano. I really enjoyed it. Still have one bottle in the cellar. Hope you guys will try to get some 2007 vintage in.
