Best wine tasting event would have been at the Beverly Hills Hotel a few years back. Oh sure the wines were pretty good, but Susan the nurse was much more memorable!!!!

This episode was a real treat. Thank you! To see a wine as old as a ’45 was an educational experience. I thought something that old would be orange. It was 99 pts in ’98, WS. Either funktified means good, or you had a bad bottle I guess. The oldest wine I had was a meager 15 years old, a Chateau Haut Maillet. The taste reminded me of bandaids. I remembered you said that old wines are an acquired taste. I’ll probably never get enough of them to acquire the taste, but they are certainly fascinating nevertheless.
