QOTD: Yes. I may have been one of the four viewers that searched Wine Library for Lambrusco last year. I found two dry Lambruscos and enjoyed them both. The Medici Ermete Lambrusco Reggiano Secco Solo and the Tenuta Pederzana Lambrusco.

My good friend over here is from that part of Italy and he brought me a bottle back from his last trip there. I have to say I was completely underimpressed but I will promise to keep trying and trying until I’ve tried them all and still don’t think well of them…but I doubt that to happen.

Don’t think I had a Lambrusco besides Ruinite’s. Growing up in “The Neck”, Carlo Rossi and Reunite is all we could afford. They were what they were. Good memories though.

QOTD: Had a 2007 Lini Lambrusco Rosso “Labrusca” a few months ago. I recall the label because I had pre-conceived notions about what a Lambrusco was (e.g. Riunite) and was pleasantly surprised at how decent it was. Trying new things…

Riunite was the way to go some 35-40 years ago, and I sure drank my share.
As to whether or not I had other Lambruscos, I don’t recall.
However, this sparkler may draw me in again; and yes, Valentines Day might be the time.
